Introduction

Welcome in Flying Academy Learning Management System (in brief LMS).

In this tutorial we will introduce LMS, it’s functions and features. But first, why not to get to know us better.

Profile Page

Dashboard

This is your profile Dashboard. It’s first page you’ll see every time you log in to LMS. You can find here courses you’re enrolled in, uncompleted courses and your completed courses.
Your profile is splitted into multiple parts. Most important ones are My Profile, Enrolled Courses, Settings and Logout button.

My Profile

On your profile you can see a lot of useful information as you see on the left.
You can even add more informations by yourself.

Enrolled Courses

Enrolled Courses contain list of all your courses.
You can even check which courses you haven’t completed yet (Active Courses) and which you have.

Settings

Settings of your profile page lets you add phone number, biography, profile picture and even few most common links to websites like Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.
And if you want to change your password you will do it here too.

Navigation is really easy.

Main Menu

Navigation Pane

The Main Menu shows most important links so they’re easily accessible from anywhere in the LMS.
The Navigation Pane can help you with situation awareness and orientation in the LMS. It always shows where you are in the system, so if you ever get lost you can use it to get back to Home page.

In the Main Menu you can find:

E-Learning Programs
Preflight Preparation
VFR and IFR Charts
Ebooks and Online Handbooks
Regulations.
Testing Portal
MyFBO Portal
Contacts and About Us
Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

And FA Tests online testing system we have developed specifically so it can help you with CAA final exams.

And last but not least About Us where is Our History about Flying Academy, Our Team where is information about our Instructors, Leaders, Customer Support and even our Developers and Contact where to contact us.

Navigation Buttons

Another features for navigations are our navigation buttons

The Left Arrow in the bottom left corner of your screen will get you back to any page website you came from.
The Up Arrow in bottom right corner of your screen will get you back to top, no matter how much you scrolled down.

Extended Navigation

Extended navigation is primarily for better orientation on the page. After click on numbered box, it will move you to the page with corresponding content

Learning Programs

We provide multiple Learning Programs for EASA and FAA students.
You can select your Type of Training (EASA/FAA) on our Home Page or in Main Menu.

Learning Programs

Inside Type of Training page you’ll find all Study Programs that we offer in our LMS. There are also links to Documents, Syllabuses, Handbooks and other materials that our students might need.

Course Programs

In each of the Study Program (i.e. PPL, NR, etc.) you will find Course Programs (e.g. Ground or Flight Training). Each Course Program contains individual courses

Individual Course

Individual Courses contains Topics, Lessons and most of the time even optional content

Course Enrollment

If you are not enrolled, each lesson will have little lock icon on the right side.

To enroll click on Enroll Now button

Lesson

Left Sidebar

Left Sidebar in Lesson View shows you the content of that specific course.

You can find here Topics and Lessons, Optional Content (Optionals) from Course View and even ask questions about this specific course in Questions and Answers (Q&A)

Our instructors will be glad to help you out.

Content

In Content Pane, there are three main things to see.

Written lesson content
Read Lesson button – audio version of written content
Icons Panel – with different version of content.
For example this red video button means, you can watch our video instead.

Lesson Completion

After you finish learning the content of the lesson, you have to check Complete Lesson button.

Without it we won’t be able calculate your progress or even let you to access the final tests.

But don’t worry, if you have any questions about our system, feel free to contact us.

Documents And Manuals

In our LMS you can find even all of the important documents. For example: Syllabuses, Operational and Instrument Manuals, Safety Bulletins and Regulations. And many more important stuff like Aircraft Documents, FAA and our Handbooks or Visa & Medical Support Guides.
